Dr. Carmen Riguero was born and raised in Miami, FL. She went to Berry College in Georgia for her undergraduate degrees in Animal Science and Chemistry. She then attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her veterinary degree in 2017. She stayed in the Midwest practicing in St. Louis, MO for 6 years before returning to South Florida.
Dr. Riguero loves all aspects of medicine and surgery and has a particular interest in geriatric medicine. She loves helping senior pets age gracefully and comfortably. Other interests include feline medicine and soft tissue surgery. She has two dogs and two cats with the oldest being Richard, a 17 year old cat.
